If there were a race of super-intelligent aliens that had the ability to transcend space-time and travel the universe, what makes us think they'd be even remotely interested in the affairs of a bunch of violent, hairless apes?

More likely we should hope that we're NOT found - I suspect alien races would be a lot more intrested in our planet and what's left of its resources than in us.
