What I meant the car did not start was that it will crank, but it seems as the
start jammed the moment I turned the ignition key.
I got this rare ballast resistor from Baxter Auto Parts store and intalled it since sometime 1998. I took it out last week due to low idle.
When I asked for ballast resistor , they just sold it to me. I did not know what
kind of resistor it was for.
