When I got my 944 back from the paint shop, they hadn't painted any of the trim, so I did it myself with a can of automotive flat black spray paint. Despite my best taping efforts, I still got overspray, of course. I was given a recommendation of Farecla compound - this stuff was awesome. Put a little dab on a damp cloth and rub, the wipe clean with a clean wet cloth. It took no effort and no time and got the black overspray off the yellow car, and removed about the same amount of paint as a regular waxing would (a bit of yellow on the cloth).

Really couldn't have been easier - you'll spend more time getting estimates and getting the hotel to actually cough up the cash.
