I dunno - Give it a try.....
I recently took a carry-on that had all the bolts to attach the wings onto a Boeing 747....Took them all the way to Dubai.....I got checked out and triple x-rayed, but I was getting paid a lot to deliver overnight and wasn't gonna risk have a checked bag lost...
