I like croissants, but they can't match a really good biscuit. The croissant probably came first though and the French know how to eat well, IMO.

Even the best bagels can be firm and rubbery, unlike the tender and moist flakiness of a well made biscuit.

What are the different bread stuff of religions? Perhaps something can be learned in this regard?

Bread plays a significant role in the Bible as well. Interesting. It would be funny to rewrite the Bible and only replace the word "bread" with "biscuit".
