Paul (pwd) and others told me to look for a 4L, if I am going to buy a Ford Ranger. Years ago, I found a 3L that suited me (I was in Spokane with a broken 911, needing a haul vehicle and the price was right). That truck was a good one, but without much power. I finally got rid of it and found a newer one, with the 4L engine.
Guys, if you're gonna get a Ford Ranger pickup and you want a six-cylinder......do yourself a favor. Find a 4L. This thing is WAY WAY more fun to drive. Thing has enough power to oversteer. It's almost as much fun to drive as my 911.
