Our '99 4.0 Ranger, loaded with extras, used to average 20.6 mpg. Now that Oregon is mandated 10% ethanol, it averages 18. (Yes, we keep a log)

I'd call performance adequate...probably in the range of my old 911T in things like lane merges, etc. And yeah, if you're not careful, you can break the rear end loose.

Super? They are $pendy, but if you buy a set of edelbrock's best shocks, you'll be amazed at the improvement in handling...
