My "stepped up" 3.2 with cat delete, test pipe and Steve Wong chip will crackle and pop on deceleration. I use a modified two in two out exhaust and initially was concerned about the backing down pops and crackles. I agree with Draco A50G "that's a price of increased performance. I drive at 5500 to 7500 ft elevation and had thought the back fire was an elevation caused effect. Down at sea level the power curve does just up considerably but the butt blasts don't go away. I'm interested in the fuel mixture comment though. My idle is set at 900 but I've not played with fuel mixtures so far. I wonder exactly how you go about that??? I've never done it.
