I actually liked McCain back in 2000, but I'm afraid he's not up to the task at his age and would just be a figurehead for "more of the same" Republican machine that I've come to loathe. At least Obama can make a speech (and read), and I know he won't pack his cabinet with long time Texas buddies so he's better prepared than GWB ever was
