Agreed. I certainly don't think Kara is the cylon.
I posted the Kara/Hybrid discourse on more of another topic... to answer Legion's inquiry about why they are pumping up the Kara character right now. As I mentioned, I think we will find that she was revived by the beings of the Ship of Lights.
Also I think people are missing some of the subtleties. Such as when the Hybrid says, "You are the harbinger of death Kara Thrace. You will lead them all to their end." She did not say Kara would lead them to their death, or say who "them" is. Which leaves a huge opening for discussion...
Kara is the harbinger. According to Merriam-Webster, a harbinger is "one that pioneers in or initiates a major change : precursor : one that presages or foreshadows what is to come". Is she the harbinger of death to a) the humans, b) the rebel cylons, or c) the original badass cylons?
Kara will lead them to their end. Lead them to their "end" as in death? OR lead them to their end, as in end of the journey?
Here is another subtlety: The hybrid says, "The dying leader will know the truth of the opera house." Many assume this to be Roz, since for 3 seasons all we heard was about her dying ass. BUT... didn't the leader of the rebel cylons just die? (shot by Athena) And didn't she lie on the table, having visions while she died? And what were those visions? (is HE the cylon??)
Last one: The hybrid says, "The children of the one reborn shall find their own country." Many think this is about Kara, thinking she was reborn from a death in the nebula. Does Kara have children? Maybe from when she was in the baby factory? OR...
1) Maybe it's about the 3 that is about to be unboxed, or 'reborn'.
2) Maybe it's about the Admiral, who was atheist but is now 'reborn' into religion.
3) ?
