I know what you mean. Due to an incredibly dry and warm start of the summer here in Sweden, I have been using my 85 Carrera as a daily commuter. Little things start to bug me, mostly in town. The heavy steering wheel, the quirky 915, the rather heavy clutch and a need for revs to keep from stalling between lights.
Out in the country and on the highway however, it is still as lovely as ever.
