My father (& Grandfather) were Porsche guys and they're both probably rolling over in their graves over my saying this, but the shine is not there after 1 week of forced driving. My wife said it best as she took it out on Sunday to do girl things. "I'm tired, it's a workout"
You guys who use as dailies are much better than me, I couldn't hack it; i'm pestering the body shop to get my daily back...
Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't love my 911, it's just that i am not in love with it right now...(old fraternity breakup phrase)

Jeffrey, the reason is that you drove it as a DAILY DRIVER! I had to drive my Targa for a month while my daily driver was in the shop! I tell you drving a 911 as a daily in the MD,DC,VA area is no fun at all. It is a whole lot different attitude when drving for fun and you don't have to be anywhere at a certain time, but when you drive to work it is completely different attitude. I found myself getting pissed off and not enjoying the car at all. The one thing it got me was a speeding ticket and not because I was going fast for fun. So you see, maybe that is what did it to you...Who knows?
