My uncles wife is an engineer. Worked for Lockhead designing nuke sub stuff for 30 years.
Go over to the house one day and he's got out one of those old accounting ledgers and is busily making notes. His wife tells me he's been at it for 8 hours straight for 2 days now. Logging every keystroke yada yada.
Asked, "waz up?".
"My computer is acting funny so I'm keeping a log of everything I do to figure out where the problem is"
"Install anything new lately?"
"Yes, 3 days ago and then the trouble started"
"So uninstall it"
"May be a coincidence and even if I do uninstall it may not fix the issue"
"So wipe it"
"But I won't be sure what the problem was"
