Porsche Crest Front Brake Rotors Clean

The front brake rotors were rusty as well, and full of Daddy Long Leg Spiders.

It took three hours of sanding to get the rust off of the rotors using 320 grit sandpaper.

After metal cleaner, the front rotors looked shiny again. I'm holding a new set of stainless steel brake lines to replace the 32 year old stainless lines in the car. It's a good idea to replace the brake lines every few years for safety's sake. I will check the steering rack mounting bolts for tightness and make sure that there is no tight spots in the steering rack sequence.

Before one drives a car that has been out of service for some time, it is very important to check the brakes and steering. Two things one cannot live without.
The entire brake system will be flushed clean with new DOT5 Racing Brake Fluid. The brake pads will be replaced after the new break in period (2008).
