is this one of those pedals that has a "wing" on the bottom, toward the left, and sits roughly right below the brake pedal?..

i think this is a bad idea, because of the way the 914's pedal is hinged.. by using something like this, you're limiting yourself to place pressure as close to the fulcrum as possible, making modulation A LOT harder.. and you're putting a lot of torsional stress on the pedal, possibly leading to premature failure..

honestly, the 914 setup is THE EASIEST car i've ever heel-toed in.. i can do it both the traditional way (heel-toe), as well as the newer way (side to side) without a problem..

my $0.02 is that you do not need the pedal, simply more practice to get comfortable with the car..
