Unfortunately, the '70 has the first iteration of the 'late' big tail/parking lights, although they still have the overrider type bumpers. Was an intermediate light as they got even bigger later and got impact bumpers.
'69 is the last year for the 'old' tail/parking lights.
So there is at least a perceived value drop from '69 to '70, in my mind anyway.
I restored a '69 ghia vert several years ago (except that I did remove the round reflectors off the fenders).
However, 40k is just nuts.
