The driver of the car I hit and I both got the rego number of the car which caused it by changing lanes without warning. Both done Police reports and they have indicated that the driver will be charged by summons.

The Mazda I hit is insured with AAMI and I am with Shannons - related companies so the process has been simple so far. AAMI have already contacted me and indicated than if they cannot recover from the Idiot driver, their driver looks to be at fault for my damage due to moving into my lane.

I feel sorry for the Mazda driver - she had nowhere to go and if she had not swerved it would have been a much bigger wreck.
