If you want it accessible while driving, a shoulder holster is really the best method. I carry 100% of the time in my cars, usually in the driver's door pocket. If I have to leave my gun in the car like when I go into the Post Office or whatever, I sometimes leave it in the door pocket, sometimes in the glove box. The BMW has tinted windows, so you can't see the door pocket from outside. Under the seat isn't an option in the 993 due to the DME box. Shaun, those rear seat deletes are crazy expensive and near unobtainium for 993's.

I've been pulled over at least six times while carrying. Never been a problem and I've never been asked to show the sidearm. I wear a sidearm openly when on the bike.
