In a tankbag, sure, but if you ever landed on the thing, it could cause nasty fractures-I know of cases where folks have had serious sternum injuries from ipods and the like, wouldn't want to hit my hip on a .45 or SIG in a fall...just something to think about.

I've gone down threee times on the bike while carrying in a Fobus holster. Gun didn't even come loose and I felt nothing. In the tank means I'd have to take it out and holster up when I get off the bike and I don't want to do that too often.
