ok, just to close this. CLAY BAR rocks! my wife took care of it, and went to some high end car spa near her office in downtown san francisco. effen costly, but the painters are footing the bill. they offered her a full interior service for an additional $50 so she did that part on her own dime. i think the paint is better than new! all the overspray is gone, and it took care off all the aerially deposited metals that clung and rusted onto the paint. you cannot lay a jacked on the car. it will slide off.
i think i am buying a clay bar and doing my 911. damn.
