If you can legally carry a concealed weapon, why would you lie about it if questioned by a police officer?
If you said no, and even if the the officer didn't have probable cause, then found your weapon, what then?
At the least, you might spend some time inspecting the stitches in the rear seat upholstery of a patrol car wearing a pair of stainless steel bracelets. And if you weren't alone (e.g. spouse, mother, mother-in-law, etc.), they'd be keeping you company too. As they say, "You'd be in whole world of hurt", but in that scenario, not from the police.
