I went for the KLA sub in the rear well. Brilliantly subtle solution, sounds great with their standard offering of a 9" driver in it and doesn’t compromise trunk space at all. I’ve got that running from a dedicated amp mounted vertically on the metal wall in front of the space saver spare tyre. Standard Blaupunkt rear speakers, JBL component 6x9"s in the front, and a Becker Grand Prix head unit. I have an old 30GB iPod stored in the armrest which is wired through to the Becker.
Sounds fantastic and it’s plenty loud enough for me.
