Because some people can't afford a 996 with coil over suspension and to live in LA in bajillion dollar homes.
Some people are not lawyers, doctors, CEO's, financial investors, stock market guys.
Some people work at McDonalds, Burger King, or Best Buy
and do not have throw-away money.
Some people have not gone to college and have formal educations. Like me,
