How 'bout your main jets being plugged? As you come off idle and the fuel circuit transitions maybe you ain't gettin' fuel.
Advance mechanism in dizzy is frozen.
Dizzy is worn and point gap varies. At higher rpm the points are not being held closed sufficiently to saturate the coil.
Fuel pump not putting out correct pressure or volume - runs outta gas at elevated rpms (clogged filter / tank pickup / lines)
