In most HID kits I have seen from the aftermarket they come with the angel eyes. Newer model 5 series have them as factory and I believe they use them as DRL's.
I agree with POP on the expense, though. If the AE's are the only reason for the purchase, I say don't waste the dough. You WILL see better at night with the HID's.
The link I provided in my post has some of the better known manufacturers. I am by no means an expert as I just got into the BMW game but there are those that frequent the Internet that are.
BTW-My car came with them in the purchase so I didn't spend anything for them.
