SUBJECT: Minimum Wage
As a reminder, the State’s minimum wage rate changed to $6.15 per hour effective
January 1, 2007. While permanent state employees are already paid above that hourly rate,
please be reminded that the new rate must be paid to temporary or seasonal employees.
If changes occur to the Federal minimum wage, state law requires the state rate to change
accordingly.
