I don't think anyone is saying that just having black skin predisposes you to anything. Of course it doesn't.

What I am saying is that either 1) the black culture in America does in fact encourage its young members to commit crimes OR 2) the black culture in America has a SERIOUS image issue.

Either one should be enough to cause the so called leaders in the black community to stand up and speak out. Some finally are, Bill Cosby being the most notable. Of course Cosby is now being called an Uncle Tom by many in his own community.

I just cannot understand why minority communities (most notably in America the black community and the hispanic community) go so far to estrange themselves from the rest of America? It has gotten to the point that I can often not even understand young black athletes or rappers. They seem to be speaking their own language of slurred, barely recognizable english. They wear their pants down past their buttcracks and have gold teeth and then wonder why people think twice before hiring them in a customer service position. It's almost like they are seeing how far they can estrange themselves while still claiming racial prejudice if things don't go their way.

Seems to me if you really wanted to improve the status and stature of your community in the country you would focus on making positive contributions, instead of rolling in bling bling hummers and shooting up strip clubs.
