Jim, what in the world does Hamilto have to do with Schumacher? The two have never raced against each other. It's as if you have to take something away from a Ferrari driver if you agree with a McLaren driver. I don't understand the logic you're using.

And by the way, do you remember Schumacher v Hill Adelaide 1994? How about Schumacher 1997?

watch this and remember that this is Michael St. Schumacher.

If you want to compare Schumacher and Hamilton, remember this would be similar to looking at Schumacher when he still had long curly hair that looked like a white man with a 'fro when he still raced in a green 7-UP car for EDDIE JORDAN. The video is Schumacher in his 4th year.

Again, I'm not advocating a Hamilton/ Schumacher comparison. All I'm saying is in this particular case, how can you say Hamilton's pass should be penalized? When you listen to Vettel explain it, he says Hamilton should have given the place back rather than race on for more positions, simply because Hamilton's car was faster and "he could have repassed me anyway". Since when is that a reason for handing out a drive through penalty? F1 is totally screwed up and rules have become arbitrary tools of revenge and statements of philosophy rather than absolute principals that can be relied upon. Remember there are millions of dollars being invested in this sport. No wonder Porsche has withdrawn from top level racing with a works team. Everything the FIA touches turns to fertilizer.
