. Personally, I've never been to an indoor range and only shoot holes in paper to zero in scopes, and I can't think of anything more "unfun", but to each his own. I've got an uncle (used to guide in Alaska years ago) who long ago lost interest in hunting with his Weatherbys and opts for his Hawkins .50 ca blackpowder and compound bows instead...different strokes. If I don't hit what I'm aiming at, I sure can't blame my "tools of the trade"...
