I have a 97 E420. Aside from serious rust, which I will be addressing shortly, it has been a great car. With about 100,000 miles on it the only repair in the last three years has been an intake gasket. Great ride, great seats. A really nice comfortable car to drive.
If I drive carefully I can get 10 litres/100km, same as my Volvo turbo wagon, which is about 25 mpg. Very good for a big fast car.
