I cant imagine why good examples wont climb much higher. after having my SC for a while, I am really stunned that such and amazing sports car was so cheap to purchase. i think the only thing holding back the price is the # of nice cars available. I think its this supply/demand that is the primary reason why say, comparable Ferrari models such as the 308 and GT4 are priced so much higher....there are so few of them in excellent condition that have not been repainted/restored. in many ways, despite my love for italian cars, the 911 is a much better overall car, is cheaper to buy parts for, performs as well if not better and has every bit as much aesthetic appeal. I do think that the 1978 - 1989 911 models will be up in the 30K range some day. not that it matters cause im not selling mine
