The rest of the world has a distorted view of the USA.
The company that assembles our engines, the owner's son was vacationing in South France last week. Twice, he was talking to locals and they asked him where he was from. He said the United States. They asked: "California?".
"No, Texas."
In both cases, they made pistols with both bands and proceeded to do a double six-gun shoot out. "Pow-pow-pow-pow-pow-pow-pow-pow-pow-pow!"
People THINK we have walk down shoot out in the streets. Even in the old WILD-WEST, we didn't have them. They were mostly made up by Hollywood.
There are a lot of us who are passionate about our rights. We have seen what happens to places like the UK and Australia when guns are banned.
