Keep in mind if it is not totalled you might as well keep it for a long time as the resale value of a repaired car is definitely not as good as a non wrecked car.
Oh, and like John L. said, don't give your wife any grief over the wreck, she probably feels bad enough as it is. Just be glad she wasn't hurt.
