Philosophically speaking, the notion of a "free will" is rather curious. A fully rational investigation will result in the conclusion there is no such thing. We know our chromosomes impact our behavior greatly (nature). And we also know our past experiences also shape our choices (nurture). If there is such a thing as "free will," then perhaps you guys can help me understand what other thing, besides these two elements (nature and nurture) impacts our decisions. Randomness is sometimes suggested but randomess as it turns out.......is just a word that means "The effect of variables we cannot see or do not yet understand."
