see...this is a good example, as a musician I can appreciate parts of a few of their songs "Mr. Roboto" or "too much time on my hands" or "lady when your with me im smiling"
i mean...those arent my favorite songs, and I dont own any Styx albums or have any of their songs on my Ipod....but I can see how people like them... there is melody there...even though I dont really like the singer's tone.

Is Evanescencse actually "emo"? I thought that was a term for those boy-punk-rocker-sugar-pop-pseudo-angst type bands that we hear all the time "Jimmy eats... whatever" and all that crap....
Now there is a genre that I certainly do not enjoy at all, in fact I fkin hate it...
but is Evanescense more like psuedo-pop-metal stuff? I dont like it much but I can see how people could like it.
