You can keep the fluid loss to a minimum if you put something on the brake pedal to keep it depressed (like a stick at the correct length). There will still be a few drops but it will be minimal. Plan on bleeding the system afterward to be safe. Frankly if it hasn't been done, just do an entire flush of the system. Its a small price to pay for dependable brakes. Do a search, there is a ton of info on this board about it. Don't forget that brake fluid is very nasty stuff so keep your hands clean when touching the paint or interior.
