True Iran is not Arab per se (Persian) but they're also a strongly Muslim country and this will polarize right down religious lines. You could even see a complete collapse of Pakistan's support for the west too, which would be just dandy for us. . .

Even if the U.S. publicly disavows involvement in any operation by Israel, try telling that to some raghead extremist nutjob in the desert someplace. They won't believe it and will still blame the U.S. and the west.
