Thats why I changed out the keyboard on the other 1705 so best to lets us get you a keyboard that works then can order one off of Ebay or the like.

I just paid something like $25 or so with shipping for one and it takes about 10 minutes max to change out. Will let you use a used keyboard until a new one comes in then after I show you how to change them you can do the switch out.
