Only fuse is for the entire instrument cluster. Wont be a fuse though since it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't.

I wouldn't say it's cool stuff. It can be an absolute roayla PIA to track this stuff down when it's not working right. Mechanical is always better then electornic in my opnion. So much easier to troubleshoot....so that means it's cheaper to fix when it goes to the shop too.
