Just met with Levi and he is back up and running.
Met him at a nearby Micky D's and pulled his laptop apart there. Took less than 5 minutes from start to finish. Easy to change on the newer Dells.
He was lucky as I had a couple of extra used keyboards that fit his unit. It was the flat ribbon with no connector on the end version. Also gave him a couple of keyboards that were as well missing keys so that if this happens again possibly he can "mix and match" and get back on line.
Did the work on the tables at the McDonnalds and charged him the excessive amount of a Big Mac for the parts and labor. Hope I was not overcharging!
Good to meet another local Pelican!
