Nah, Long Beach isn't up to it anymore. They have a 5 year deal with IRL, IIRC, and after that, you never know.
Somethings can't keep going forever and I see the day of no more motor racing in LB coming sooner or later. The near riot last April Sat night is just a harbinger of things to come. It's not a race as much as it is a big party for big profit.
Why would we want to do something really cool?
