One of the most enjoyable to drive cars I've ever had, a Diahatsu Mira in Nagano, Japan. A Kei car, it must have an engine of less than 650cc and meet certain size limits, and then it qualifies for a yellow plate in Japan, which makes it less expensive to insure and costs less to certify. Great on gas, too.
Great little car, raspy aggressive sounding exhaust when pushed, AWD, practical and lots of fun up the winding mountain roads that surrounded where I lived. If I were to live in Japan again, I would pick up another one in an instant.
