Beyond the fire, the breath and scope of what you guys see at the personal level (accidents, broken kids, etc.) absolutely disqualifies me from your profession. I can handle the physical, not the emotional. I do wish you all the best.
In many professions there are poseurs...weeding though the chaff is always hard, be it doctor or plumber or fire fighter. Is there anything worse than the vanity plate proclaiming, "Dr"?
