I installed an update last night (KB 951748) before I went to bed, and I have no internet connectivity today. YIPEEEEEE!!!!!
I have a dual boot XP Pro / Vista Ultimate machine, and am posting this from the Vista side, over the same connection that doesn't work with the recently updated XP Pro.
I get an IP Address with ipconfig. It will release, and renew this Address also.
I have tried repairing the connection through Control Panel / Network Connections also. No Go.
The internet connection settings, along with the LAN settings look unchanged.
Connected through a cable modem, with a MediaCom Connection. No Hub, Residential Gateway, or Router. It's Straight from the Modem, to the computer.
Any Guesses?
