I know three firefighters.
One (the guy I already posted about) is a jerk. He was a jerk before he became a firefighter, and now he's just a jerk who treats his badge as a get-out-of-jail-free card.
One is my neighbor down the street. I'm glad to have him as a neighbor. He's just a nice guy who's fun to have around. I did notice that he put a vintage fire hydrant in front of his house, and some of the other firefighters put an "out of use" bag over it a few weeks ago.
One is the friend of a friend. I don't know him well but he also seems like a nice guy.
