Militant cyclists are some of the biggest ass holes on the road. They disobey most traffic laws, refuse to get out of the way even when it would make no difference to them, damage cars whose drivers they feel have slighted them and then disappear into traffic, and on and on. They really do give the vast majority of responsible, courteous cyclists a bad name.
