jim is probably pulling into his driveway right now, a big thanks to him for letting me co-drive his turbo rx-7.......let me say that that car is freaking fun and fast
we got 4 runs each, but the organizers spread all 4 out over the day, meaning you had one run....then waited an hour, then ran again, etc......kinda silly to do that imo but whatever, we still had fun
for the first 3 runs we ran jims old race slicks, and confirmed that they're shot, they got way too greasy which made the rx-7 a drift machine....which was fun in it's own right
the last run we put on his street tires and easily knocked a full second off of our times, a good time was had, he has some in car footage of our runs in the drift machine, hopefully we'll be able to post them
