My computer guy specializes in this. He can ship anywhere and he is extremely reasonable. He just built me a new Thinkpad T60 with XP for $1,000, and he has a dozen refurbished units that are almost as good for your price range. He is an authorized Microsoft vendor, so he can sell and service XP for another 5 years. Only the big box retailers and manufacturers like Dell and Best Buy discontinued XP completely.
