Are they just surface cracks, or are they cracks through the entire piece, starting at the gel-coat? If they are just the little spider web type of surface cracks, they may have been caused from stress, and they might show back up, if the composite piece is not re-enforced and stabilized. If the crack are fairly deep, and have gone into the underlying composite fabrics, you might want to drill some crack-stop holes a the ends of the cracks, so they don't keep following the crack and keep getting larger. The piece could then be sanded down, and a quality filler applied, making sure to get it worked into the cracks and the crack stop holes. Corvette panel adhesive does a good job, when used for this type of repair. Then sand, prime and paint. Good luck!! Tony.
