I was wondering if there were any major recalls or defects with 1999 911's? I know that early Boxsters had block issues, so I was wondering if there were any factory defects or problems with the early 996's.

I am thinking about buying a 996, so I wanted to know what I'm getting myself into.

Any input will help.
